Tuna 'Tato

Ingredients

2x 425 g cans of tuna in brine (large cans)
5ish potatoes - same quantity as tuna
1 brown onion - medium
1ish cup breadcrumbs / seasoned stuffing mix
30 butter
lemon juice

Equipment

Method

  1. preheat oven to 180C
  2. precook and mash potato
  3. chop onion and saute in oil
  4. drain tuna and combine in a large bowl with potato and onion
  5. add lemon juice and stir to cominbe ingredients
  6. grease oven proof dish
  7. scoop mixture into dish
  8. melt butter and add to breadcrumbs with some lemon juice and stir through
  9. sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top
  10. bake in oven at 180C for 20-40 minutes until golden
  11. serve hot

Notes

if you are in a hurry you can microwave this - but it isn't as nice when not crunchy on top

Tuna in spring water is even more healthy.
