Ingredients
| 500 g |
butter softened |
| 1 cup |
icing sugar - generous |
| 3 cup |
plain flour - generous |
| 1/2 cup |
corn flour / corn starch |
| 1/2 tsp |
vanilla essence |
Equipment
- oven
- mix master or electric beater
Method
- cream butter with electric beater
- add vanilla
- work in icing sugar
- sift flour and corn starch over
- whip until fluffy and mixture "breaks" it should be able to be rolled
- drop from a spoon onto a greased baking tray
- use a wet fork to pattern top
- decorate with chocolate or dried fruit
- bake approximately 15 minutes
- cool on tray
- serve

this mixture is huge, I usually do a half batch
