Ingredients

450 g sugar
85 g butter
6 eggs
4 lemons - juice
2 lemons - zest

Equipment

Method

  1. Crack eggs into saucepan
  2. Beat the eggs
  3. Add sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest to the eggs
  4. Put the saucepan into a pan of boiling water on the stove
  5. Add butter to the mixture
  6. Stir continuously until the lemon butter thickens
